The basic concept of the cam lock fittings being marketed by Maxisafe Fittings was originated by Jeffrey Hartman out of need to bring a new and improved coupling to the Camlock Industry.
After almost 30 years in the transportation and distribution of liquid bulk products and witnessing a variety of mishaps, some of which were very severe, it became apparent to him that a major improvement in the transfer of liquid bulk products was needed.
Mr. Hartman decided to take on this challenge.
After almost 12 years, many designs, changes, and several inventions, but more importantly not giving up, the Xtrasafe Quad Lock was born. The Xtrasafe Quad Lock is the result of years of trial and error, testing, and perfecting a new design camlock fitting that Mr. Hartman truly believes will take the Cam and Groove Industry into the next 100 years.
